The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered essential healthcare services to 2,668 Syrian refugees at the Zaatari Camp in Jordan over the past week, reinforcing its commitment to humanitarian aid.
KSrelief’s general medicine clinics treated 940 patients, while the internal medicine clinic provided care for 125 individuals suffering from diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. Pediatric services were extended to 256 children, and 195 patients received dental care.
Specialized clinics also played a vital role: gynecology treated 260 women, ENT clinics attended to 71 cases of sinus, throat, and ear infections, and ophthalmology cared for 63 patients.
Additionally, cardiology assisted 22 patients, dermatology treated 34 cases, and rehabilitation medicine provided therapy to 24 individuals. Diagnostic services were important, with 1,890 lab tests conducted for 262 patients and 138 X-rays performed for 104 individuals.
The immunization clinic administered vaccines to 91 patients, while 130 physical therapy sessions were carried out. Additionally, 71 individuals benefited from health education programs.
Additionally, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) also distributed 1,000 food baskets in Lipjan, Shtime, Malisheva, and Rahovec, benefiting 5,000 people from 1,000 families.
This effort is part of the "Etaam" Ramadan Food Basket Project, conducted in partnership with Kosova’s Islamic community. The initiative aims to distribute 8,110 baskets each weighing 51 kg and containing rice, oil, pasta, sugar, and flour benefiting 40,550 individuals across 30 municipalities.
KSrelief’s humanitarian mission continues to strengthen food security in communities in need, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to global relief efforts.
With addition from Human Online, KSrelief has also extended its food basket distribution efforts to other countries, including Somalia and Mauritania, reinforcing its global humanitarian impact. In Kosovo, this initiative directly supports local communities by providing essential food supplies, improving their quality of life, and strengthening their resilience in challenging circumstances.
Similarly, Beyond Jordan, KSrelief continues to extend its support across the Middle East, including delivering vital medical aid and equipment to Yemen. These efforts highlight Saudi Arabia’s role in regional humanitarian initiatives, dedicated to improving the lives of refugees and displaced communities.
